Two concept notes of total over €3 million filed with the EEA and NORWAY GRANTS!

On June 29, 2018 we filed two concept notes to EEA and NORWAY Grants: one for 4 Partners and the second for 6 Partners from Poland, Iceland, Bulgaria, Turkey, Hungary, Spain and Greece.

Both projects regard different angles of education: first one aims at boosting cultural heritage among the Youth through international cooperation. Second project gives possibility for training disabled persons and women – two groups disadvantaged on the labour market – as assistants to disabled tourists.

Regional Meeting of the New Education Forum – 19th and 20th April – Poznan

April 19th – 20th – Poznań invites to The Regional New Education Forum – NEF

In cooperation with the City of Poznań and Agnieszka Kozłowska-Rajewicz, Member of the European Parliament and support of the University of Adam Mickiewicz, CIE organizes the Regional NEF.

With contribution of the European, Polish and Poznań experts and decision makers we shall elaborate on the solutions bring education closer to the society, especially the industry. The panels shall refer to the:

  • Challenges for the Vocational Learning and Training in the Smart Cities Era, including good practices in VET from Poznań and abroad 
  • Integrating new generations and incoming residents in VET
  • Obstacles for good Cross-sectorial cooperation: Colleges and Business – important stakeholders in VET formation
  • Qualities of good employee through the eyes of company, university and VET

NEW EDUCATION FORUM 2017 – VET promotion and Smart Education in Smart Cities and Smart Regions

 

On 22nd and 23rd of November the Center for Innovative Education, in partnership with EPP, the European Economic and Social Committee and under the honorary patronage of Business Europe, organised the New Education Forum, which took place in the European Parliament.

 

The 3rd New Education Forum focused on two key solutions for the improvement of labour market in the European Union: VET promotion and Smart Education indicators coming from new economic models of Smart Cities and Smart Regions.

 

Jerzy Buzek, MEP, Chair of the Committee on Energy, Research and Industry, Brando Benifei, MEP, Member of the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs, Danuta Jazłowiecka, MEP, Member of the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs, Agnieszka Kozłowska-Rajewicz, MEP, Member of the Committee on Employment and Socal Affairs, Michał Boni, MEP, Member of the Committee on Civil Society, Justice and Home Affairs, Uwe Combuechen, Director General of CEEMET, Jacek Krawczyk, President of the Employers Group at EESC were among the panellists.

 

Participants included representatives of institutions from Spain, UK, Bulgary, Poland, Italy, Germany, Slovenia, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, France, Hungary, Finland, Sweden, Slovakia.

 

Professor Jerzy Buzek, former President of the European Parliament, made a remark on the key importance of education in the innovative and new industries. He also proposed to create a European Cluster composed by the network of Center for Innovative Education and the New Education Forum participants.

 

Madam Pirita Lindholm, Director of the European Regions on Research and Innovation, proposed to add education aims as part of the New Innovation Strategy for Regions to be supported by the same funds.

 

Madam Joanna Bochniarz, President, the Center for Innovative Education put emphasis on the importance of small and medium size regions and municipalities and how they should focus on creating VET systems capable to attract industry because of the high quality of employees.
