In the project implemented under the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development “Opportunity – new opportunities for adults”, we have recruited and trained more than 30 people. These are mainly women who fled Ukraine after 24 February 2022. In addition to a roof over their heads, work and a school for children, they need knowledge that will allow them to navigate the thicket of Polish law and financial regulations. They need to know which office to turn to with which case and what help they can get in Poland. It is also important that they know what cultural life looks like in Poland, what interesting things they can see, where to go, because work alone does not make a living.
Currently, workshops are conducted in Lower Silesia, Silesia and Warmia-Mazurskie Voivodeships.
By the end of April we will train a total of 60 people.
